The close partnership with the theatre Vanemuine is the peculiar feature and a great advantage of the Vanemuise Dance- and Balletschool in general. Not only alumni are invited to work for the theatre, students of many classes are often involved in the performances and classical ballets of the theatre.
Dancing as equals with the professional dancers students get rich additional practice on stage. For example, the students participated in such ballets like “Nutcracker”, “Giselle”, “Cinderella”, “Chopiniana”, “The Rite of Spring”.

- ·May 2009 — “Joy of Dance” (produced by Jelena Karpova), the final performance of the 3rd class of alumni on the music by Nino Rota;
- ·May 2007 — “Romantic sketches” (produced by Oleg Titov), the final performance of the 2nd class of alumni on the music by W. A. Mozart;
- ·May 2004 — “Syrenes” (produced by Dmitri Hartchenko), the final performance of the 1st class of alumni;
- ·February 2003 — “Fiery red flower” (produced by Jelena Karpova), ballet for children in two acts on the music by G. Fauré and F. Grofe;
- ·June 2001 — “Seasons” (produced by Jelena Karpova), ballet in one act on the music by A. Glazounov;
- ·December 1999 — “The Snow Queen” (produced by Jelena Karpova), ballet for children in two acts on the music by E. Grieg and M. Ravel.
